Organised by the UPC–Grupo Construcía Circular Economy in Construction Chair and Hub, in partnership with Barcelona Provincial Council,
the 2026 summit will explore how the construction sector can adapt and thrive amid geopolitical uncertainty, social pressures,
resource constraints and supply-chain disruption. With resilience now central to effective risk management, the programme will examine how circular construction can help build a stronger, more adaptable and future-ready sector.

Barcelona takes the spotlight as host city.
Barcelona will present the results of initiatives already delivered across the city,
as well as the new solutions and projects planned for the year ahead.

The programme will introduce a pioneering initiative that brings together
banks, investors, construction companies and public-sector organisations
to integrate circularity into real-estate risk assessment.
